Industrial Design is where physical products come to life. We work with products at every stage of development. From early research, all the way to manufacturing readiness. If your product exists only as an idea, we help validate and shape it. If it already has form, we refine it. If it's ready to manufacture, we get it there. One integrated team, the entire way through.

Our process

Everything a product idea needs to become reality

Every product has a story to tell, and a journey to take. Our job is to make sure that this journey, from the very first introduction to the final file sent to the manufacturer, is as smooth as possible. With one integrated team handling every stage, nothing is lost in translation. Each step is collaborative. Each step is iterative. The result is a product that’s both usable and desirable.

Every project starts with a conversation. We sit down with the client to understand where they are, where they want to go, and what's standing in the way. Then we dive headfirst into research. Market research, competitor analysis, user journey. All of this gets distilled into a single, sharpened brief. One that captures the vision for the product and points the way forward.

Discovery

With the brief in hand, we start shaping the idea. We sketch. We prototype fast and rough. We build moodboards, run AI visualisations, and let the concepts develop in multiple directions at once. No idea is off limits. Then we test each concept against reality, and ask the hard question: will this actually work?

Concept

Here, we begin to dive deep into the chosen concept. Dimensions, materials, tolerances, finishes, colours, the language of its form. Every detail is added with the user in mind. Ergonomics are carefully considered, guiding every design decision, so the product feels as good to use as it looks. This is where intent becomes object.

Detailed Design

With the design locked in, we shift into engineering mode. We develop the internal architecture, carry out structural analysis and apply DFMA principles. The goal is twofold: make it easier to manufacture, and make it cheaper to produce. Nothing is left to chance. Every screw, every fillet, every support is considered, placed, and accounted for.

Engineering

With the engineering locked in, we begin prototyping. We begin with rapid in-house prototyping. Quick, scrappy, and designed to test the concept. From there, we move on to a proof of concept, something closer to the real thing. This POC is rigorously tested with users and in real-world conditions. Anything that needs to be changed becomes obvious fast.

Prototyping

We’ve built our own vendor ecosystem over the years, and we work together with them to run a small, controlled run that lets us stress-test the design in a real manufacturing environment. We check for assembly issues, material behaviour, and quality consistency, while our engineering team ensures that what is produced matches what was designed.

Pilot / Small Batch

Finally, we hand over a complete manufacturing package: CAD files, manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, technical specifications, CMF, vendor documentation, and every other piece of the puzzle your manufacturer needs to move from concept to production. From here, the product is for you to build, and for the world to admire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Just about anything you can hold, wear, sit on, or plug in. Consumer electronics, medical devices, wearables, robotics, hardware interfaces, transportation, and plenty more. Our sweet spot is products where daily life meets technical complexity. The products people rely on without thinking about them. The harder the problem, the more we have to offer.

Deeply. Design doesn't stop when the form looks right. Our engineering team works through internal architecture, DFMA, structural analysis, and prototyping. The goal is a product that can actually be manufactured reliably, and at a cost that makes sense. We don't hand off to an external engineer and hope for the best.

Yes. If the architecture and engineering are already settled and you need the form refined, we can scope an engagement around that. We're comfortable working within defined constraints. What we don't do is only engineering without any involvement in the design process.

Yes. Over the years, we've cultivated a vendor ecosystem that we put to good use. When a product is being validated for the first time, we run pilot and small-batch production. This lets us test its manufacturability and real-world feasibility. For tried and tested products, we assist directly with mass production, making sure what gets built matches what was designed.

We have rapid prototyping equipment in-house, including 3D printers and laser cutters, which means early iterations move fast. We're also located inside an industrial development zone, which gives us direct access to a much wider range of fabrication and prototyping services. Additionally, we have a growing vendor network that extends our capabilities further.
