Brief
Design a conceptual / practical digital experience, product or interaction as a response to one of the following dimensions of truth — its interpretation, distribution or preservation.
Scope

The scope is focussed on a digital experience , product or interaction which could be conceptual, speculative, a provocation or practical in nature. The experience could also be of a mixed media or phygital nature provided digital technologies form it’s core.  The experience/ product could be designed for a personal or social context for any user group of your choice.

Deliverables
  • Concept Writeup (300-500 words): Explain the problem layer you tackled- Interpretation, Distribution or Preservation, your insight, and your digital solution.
  • Key Screens: 3+ high-fidelity screen mockups showing core features, flows, and interactions. For non-screen interfaces/ interactions, develop appropriate mock-up as required.
  • User Scenario: User flow or storyboard that communicates your designed experience or interaction
  • Brownie Points: Clickable Figma prototype / motion demonstration of micro-interactions or any form of working prototype.

  • Sound understanding of the problem, it’s nuances and complexities
  • Strong conceptual thought/ story or novel direction/ perspective driving the design of the experience
  • Interesting visual design/ direction aligned with the overall concept
  • Forward-thinking application of emerging technologies
  • Attention to details

General Evaluation Criteria

Apart from the discipline-based evaluation criteria, your submission will be evaluated based on:

  • Application Form: The clarity and thoughtfulness of your responses. Your attitude towards design and the way you approach the prompt.
  • Contextual Relevance: How closely your submission responds to the theme of “Future of Truth” and the chosen track. Does it feel intentional?
  • Design Excellence: The depth of your design process. Your research, ideation, execution, storytelling and visual style.
  • Innovative Thinking: Is the idea novel, unexpected, or emotionally insightful? Does it go beyond the obvious?

Think of this challenge as a way to express what you feel about the world. Your submission can be as wild, poetic, precise, or playful as you are. And yes, you're free to use it in your portfolio. In fact, we hope you do!
